Colonial Sandstone
Colonial Sandstone is a highly sought-after building material due to its durability, beauty, and versatility. Quarried in the Garada Region of Bundi District of Rajasthan, it is a sedimentary rock composed of sand grains cemented by natural minerals and in colours such as beige, brown, grey, and orange. During the colonial era, people used colonial sandstone for building foundations, walls, chimneys, and fireplaces. It is still popular and often used for renovating historic homes and buildings.
We offer various finishes for colonial sandstone, including brushed, tumbled, sandblasted, and bush hammered. The stone can be used in traditional and modern architectural styles and is ideal for indoor and outdoor applications.
